Sam and Leah: Married!

Trust me, Sam is Mafia.

I first met Sam playing the party game Mafia in Madison, WI. Mafia involves a lot of lying, yelling, and unfounded accusations. It’s great. Sam was leading the game that night, which I learned was preferable to him playing since he is very persuasive and hard to kill. At some point, someone mentioned Sam’s girlfriend, who lived a few hours away.

- Sam’s girlfriend is gooorgeous. And hilarious, of course.

- Sam and his girlfriend are unbelievably cute together. You wouldn’t believe it – he is a complete sweetheart around her.

Sweetheart? Really? It’s not that Sam is not sweet. It’s just, sweetheart is not exactly his defining characteristic. Consistently funny? For sure. Unbelievably smart? Check. Fast talker? Extremely. Sweetheart…?

Sam’s girlfriend soon became his fiance, and when she was visiting one weekend, I offered to take their engagement pictures. The rumors were true. Leah is gooorgeous. Hilarious. Unbelievably smart. And with her, Sam becomes a total sweetheart. A sweetheart who cracks a lot of jokes.

This weekend, on a perfect San Diego Saturday, Sam and Leah married each other. Their wedding was everything they are. Playful. Smart. Incredibly beautiful.
